Job DescriptionPosition: Maintenance ManagerJob Summary:The Maintenance Manager will direct and supervise the maintenance team and day-to-day operations in the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality service, increasing sales and profitability and developing and maintaining a base of satisfied clients. Responsibilities extend to all territories and job locations.Compensation package includes: Negotiable, yearly salary based on experience. Quarterly bonus based on profitability goals achieved. Paid holidays available immediately. One-week paid vacation upon hire, second week after one year of employment. 401k plan with matching contribution after one year. Medical insurance available, ½ company paid. Dental, vision, long and short-term disability and life insurance available. Assigned, take home company vehicle for company use. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the daily, weekly schedule of a team of maintenance technicians. Delegate and oversee duties of maintenance technicians. Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of the maintenance department. Commercial division growth and oversight. Manages and oversees the hiring, training, and motivation of service team members. Completes two performance evaluations for all maintenance department team members, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment. Conducts and oversees employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Duties/Responsibilities: Drive to increase sales and profitability of maintenance department while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Establish and maintain excellent communication processes and procedures. Ensure that communication is the number one priority with clients, employees, departments, manufacturers, and suppliers. Monitoring the daily and monthly sales achievements as compared to budgeted goals and history to meet/exceed expectations. Ensure consistent customer satisfaction, resulting in repeat business, referrals, and client confidence. Develop, improve, and enforce company policies and procedures. Identify strengths and weaknesses of employees. Implement plans and actions to develop strengths and minimize weaknesses. Assists with weekly team meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated. Provides guidance and leadership to enable the team to meet these goals and objectives. Conduct and organize regular training for team members. Integral part of growth and profitability planning with owner. Ensure company vehicles are well maintained, clean, and organized. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to think on your feet and provide solutions. Excellent knowledge of current pool products and maintenance methods. Top-tier organizational skills and attention to detail a must. Big picture vision while working in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment. Ability to analyze and understand KPI and financial data of service department. Ability to utilize current technology to maximize efficiency. Technology savvy-Microsoft office, CRM systems, and latest industry equipment. Advanced, written, and verbal communication skills, customer service focus and sales ability. Clean MVR. Ability to travel away from home for training and company events. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum five years industry experience. Previous team management experience.
