Transportation Analyst

Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Transportation AnalystThe RoleToyota Material Handling is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Transportation Analyst. This position will be responsible supporting day-to-day operations for inbound and outbound shipping. They will be working with various transportation companies and internal customers to ensure on time deliveries.Essential Position DutiesProvide customer service support to internal and external customersGather data from carrier scorecardAnalyze and process freight damage claimsSupport development of yearly budget for departmentsGather data for development of cost saving measuresFoster carrier relations with good communication and conflict resolutionProcess freight and invoicesSupport process improvement activity within the Transportation DepartmentAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerAdditional duties as assignedAdditional duties as assigned.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.Certifications in Logistics related field preferredExcellent written and oral communication skillsWorking knowledge of the different forms of transportation (intermodal and over the road)Ability to work with customers and carriers via telephoneProficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPointKnowledge of TMSProficiency with SAP preferredWhere And When You’ll WorkThis is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.Travel: up to 20% (domestic and international)What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:Salary - $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
