Hospitalist in Behavioral Health- PA Inpatient Opportunity-~Lynchburg, VA  About Our PracticeCentra’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Health team provides vital, compassionate mental health services through a comprehensive continuum of care designed to meet the diverse needs of our community.Our inpatient programs include dedicated Acute Psychiatric services for Children & Adolescents, Adult Psychiatry, and Geriatric Psychiatry — all supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our inpatient team, providing medical management for adult and geriatric psychiatric patients. In this role, you will focus on addressing basic medical needs within the behavioral health setting, working closely with psychiatry colleagues to ensure comprehensive, whole-person care.Looking ahead, Centra Health’s new Behavioral Health Hospital is set to open in Spring 2026. This 75,000-square-foot, 72-bed, state-of-the-art facility will feature open community spaces, therapeutic courtyards, and advanced clinical areas serving adult, geriatric, and child/adolescent populations.
