Role Description This is a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor role, based in Knoxville, TN and Johnson City, TN. The position operates in a hybrid capacity, allowing a blend of in-office sessions and remote work. Key responsibilities include conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining detailed client records. The counselor will also provide crisis intervention, collaborate with other professionals, and ensure applicable ethical and legal standards are met. Qualifications Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent in the state of Tennessee. LMFT or LCSWStrong therapeutic skills, including individual counseling, couples counseling, and family therapy techniquesExperience in developing and implementing effective treatment plansExcellent communication and active listening skills to build strong client rapportUnderstanding of ethical practices, confidentiality requirements, and legal guidelines in counselingStrong organizational skills for maintaining accurate and up-to-date client recordsProficiency with technology for conducting remote counseling sessions when neededCompassion, cultural sensitivity, and a nonjudgmental approach to client careMaster's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related fieldExperience in faith-based counseling is a plus
