Are you passionate about trees, customer relationships, and creating beautiful, healthy landscapes? Sam Hill Tree Care is looking for an experienced Arborist to join our growing team in Dallas, TX. This is a client-facing role where you’ll combine your technical tree care expertise with relationship management, sales, and project oversight.What You’ll Do:As an Arborist, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to residential and estate clients by assessing tree and landscape needs, recommending solutions, and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.Responsibilities:Meet with clients and prospective customers on-site to assess tree and plant health needsPrepare proposals for tree care and plant health services aligned with ANSI A300 standardsFollow up on proposals and maintain strong customer relationshipsCoordinate scheduling and communicate timelines with clientsPartner with production crews to ensure jobs are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standardsConduct post-service follow-up to ensure customer satisfactionResolve client concerns quickly and professionallyTrack sales activity and review job profitabilitySupport marketing efforts through newsletters, campaigns, referrals, and social media contentPromote and model company safety standards at all timesWhat We’re Looking For Required Qualifications:Degree in Horticulture, Forestry, Entomology, Plant Pathology, or related fieldValid Texas Class C Driver’s LicenseISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain certification within 12 months3+ years of green industry experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of regional trees, plants, insects, and disease identification
