Role: AVEVA Controls EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration : 12 Months Job DescriptionProject descriptionWe are seeking an experienced AVEVA System Platform Specialist with 6-10 years of hands-on experience to support our client's industrial automation and control systems environment.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AVEVA/Wonderware technologies, with a focus on System Platform 2023R2SP1 implementation, migration strategies, and integration with OEM systems.This role requires strong technical skills in industrial software platforms, PLC integration, and the ability to work independently during critical system cutovers.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform system assessments and requirements analysis for AVEVA System Platform 2023R2SP1 implementationInstall and configure AVEVA System Platform components including System Platform, Operations and Integration, InTouch, and HistorianDevelop and execute migration strategies from legacy systems (AVEVA System Platform 2014 R2) to newer versionsEstablish and maintain integration touchpoints with external OEM OPC providersTroubleshoot IO connectivity issues within the System Platform ecosystemExecute system cutovers within the client's change management frameworkWork independently during non-standard business hours for critical system implementations and troubleshootingOperate within privileged access environments (PAM) following security protocolsWhat are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?Mandatory SkillsAVEVA System Platform (ArchestrA IDE)InTouch HMI implementation and configurationAVEVA Historian & Historian ClientOPC/OPC UA communication protocolsPLC Integration (Rockwell/Siemens/Mitsubishi)SQL Server database managementWindows Server administrationManufacturing workflows & ISA 95 understandingChange Management processesWhat are the Optional skills and skill proficiencies for this position?
