As Production Manager, you will lead a high-performing team in a dynamic, high-mix, low-volume environment where execution, accountability, and real-time decision-making drive success. You will play a key role in delivering quality products on time while building a culture focused on safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.What You Will Do: Lead. Execute. Improve.Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise production floor personal across machining and assembly operationsExecute daily production schedules and adjust priorities to meet customer demandMonitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions in real timeMaintain a strong presence on the production floor to support decision-making and team engagementEnsure adherence to standard work, routings, and manufacturing processesPromote and enforce a strong safety culture and compliance with all safety policiesEnsure product quality meets established standards and specificationsLead resolution of production-related quality issues, including containment and corrective actionsPartner with engineering and quality teams on root cause analysis and process improvementsDrive key performance indicators including on-time deliver, labor efficiency, and inventory levelsLead daily and weekly production meetings to review performance and address gapsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve constraints and ensure smooth production flowLead and support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floorImprove production flow, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiencyImplement and sustain visual management and standard work practicesWhat You Will Bring: Leadership. Execution.Qualifications and Experience:5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations with a strong focus on production floor execution2+ years of leadership experience supervising production teams in a hands-on environmentProven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams, driving accountability and performanceDemonstrated success in improving production outcomes, meeting schedules, and delivering on-time resultsExperience in a high-mix, low-volume or job shop environment, preferredWorking knowledge of metal forming, CNC machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly operationsExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) to support production planning and executionHands-on experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutionsEffective communicator with the ability to collaborate across materials, engineering, and leadership teamsDemonstrated ownership of operational performance, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivityAbility to thrive in a dynamic, small-team environment and lead through changeWhy JPW Industries?
