Pay: $1,800 to $2,100 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Travel Histology Technician Opportunity – Detroit, MI Location: 2799 W Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202, United States Position: Histology Technician Start Date: 06/15/2026 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension Shift: Afternoon Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM We are seeking an experienced Histology Technician for a travel assignment in Detroit, MI Responsibilities: Cut surgical, autopsy, and research tissue using a rotary microtome Embed, stain, coverslip, and label tissue specimens Perform special stains per standardized procedures Operate and maintain lab instruments and equipment Maintain QC, QA, CAP, and maintenance records Prepare stains, solutions, and fixatives Support quality improvement and training initiatives Interview Process: 30-minute MS Teams interview Requirements 4–5 years of Histology experience preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree required HT or HTL certification preferred BLS certification required Strong knowledge of tissue processing and laboratory procedures Benefits Quick Offer
