Job Description Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (EP Experience Required)Location: Tyler, TXContract Type: TravelDuration: 13 weeksShift: 4x10 DaysPay: $2,600/weekCompletion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)Job DescriptionATC Healthcare is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment supporting invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures in an acute care setting. The technologist plays a critical role in preparing procedure rooms, operating fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems, recording hemodynamic data, and maintaining strict sterile technique and radiation safety. Candidates must have electrophysiology (EP) lab experience and be comfortable supporting complex cardiac procedures and advanced cath lab equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and set up cath lab rooms and equipment for cardiac and EP proceduresOperate fluoroscopy and digital imaging acquisition systemsPerform hemodynamic monitoring and documentationEnsure accurate patient and procedure data entry in lab systemsMaintain strict aseptic and sterile technique during proceduresSupport physicians during invasive cardiac and EP casesOperate specialized equipment such as IVUS, ICE, contrast injectors, and assist devicesMonitor ECG and recognize rhythm changes during proceduresAct as radiation safety representative during imaging usePerform daily equipment checks and stock suppliesAssist with patient positioning, transport, and safety measuresFollow all patient safety, infection control, and privacy protocolsQualificationsEP (Electrophysiology) lab experience requiredGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or related healthcare program requiredAcute care cath lab experience preferredBLS certification (AHA) requiredACLS certification (AHA) requiredPALS certification (AHA) required for pediatric coverage if applicableOne or more of the following preferred: RCIS, RCES, ARRT (R/CI/CV/VI), or equivalent cardiovascular credentialsTexas state licensure required based on modality (MRT or LMRT)Ability to operate cath lab imaging and hemodynamic systemsBenefitsWeekly pay with competitive ratesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchReferral bonuses for referring talented professionals into our networkFlexible schedules and dedicated recruiter supportAbout ATC HealthcareATC Healthcare has been a leader in healthcare staffing for nearly 40 years, offering personalized placement and support to healthcare professionals nationwide.
