Electrical AssemblerLAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Aerospace Assmblers with electrical experience for an opportunity in El Segundo, CAMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION Minimum of High School Diploma or GEDMore than 3 years of experience reading blueprints, working with manufacturing plans, and reviewing instructions for aerospace manufacturing processes3 years of experience in electronics, electro-mechanical and printed circuit board (PCB) assembliesCapable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basisAbility to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaksPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): More than 3 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical assembly on high reliability productsMore than 3 years of experience working with ESD, IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standardsMore than 3 years of experience with solderingMore than 5 years of experience building a variety of component-level space products (e.g. avionics boxes, batteries, mechanisms, optics, printed circuit board assemblies, solar arrays, etc.) More than 3 years of experience using structures hand tools, test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheersMore than 3 years of experience working in a Clean Room environmentMore than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environmentCurrently hold a IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certificationMore than 3 years of experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systemsJOB DESCRIPTIONThe Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of manufacturing of space flight sub-systems and support equipment.Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassisAssemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, and standard operating proceduresUse precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, micrometers and calipersPerform visually inspect of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration and test proceduresEnsure product quality and conformance to specificationsDocument non-conformances and associated rework/repairSoldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT componentsSupport conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coatingWhy Choose LAUNCH?A team of aviation staffing experts leads LAUNCH.
