This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, staff training, and maintaining high standards of food production and service.
Duties
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service.
Manage staff recruitment, including interviewing potential candidates and onboarding new hires.
Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills in food production and customer service.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team-building activities.
Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure menu items are prepared to standard and presented attractively.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in casual dining environments is preferred.
Familiarity with restaurant management software, particularly Toast or similar systems is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
