Applications Engineer

Duties Interface with customers to help specify and configure injection molding machines with options to meet their requirements. Interact and communicate with the equipment manufacturers factory personnel regarding customer machine requirements. Manage customer visits including running mold trials on new equipment. Work on independently or assist with minor machine modifications. Utilize software to communicate, manage and report engineering activities and progress. Skills Engineering Degree in Plastics, Mechanical Engineering or related work experience Hands-on plastics processing knowledge. Strong computer skills including CAD, Solid Modelling, (Microsoft Office Suite), experience with Quickbase and Moldflow would be considered a plus Travel as needed to support sales and product management.
