This role involves operating vacuum trucks for pipeline cleaning, hydro excavation, and debris removal in support of rehabilitation projects such as slip lining, drainage installation, and canal & lake bank restoration. Overnight travel Sunday-Friday is required..What You'll DoSafely operate vacuum trucks for hydro excavation, debris removal, and pipeline cleaningConduct daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) and perform routine maintenance checksAssist with underground utility construction tasks on-siteOperate small tools and equipment (e.g., pumps, gas saws, compactors, backhoes, bobcats)Properly load and unload equipment and materials at job sitesMaintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standardsKeep detailed logs of work performed, mileage, fuel, and equipment usageCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and crew membersRequired QualificationsValid CDL Class A Driver's License3-5 years of experience in commercial driving and vac truck operationUnderground utility construction experience requiredMechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshootingAbility to follow safety protocols and work independently or as part of a crewStrong communication skills and professional work ethicWillingness to travel and stay overnight (Sunday-Friday)Work ScheduleMonday - FridayOvernight travel Sunday-FridayOvertime as neededPerks of the JobWeekly pay401(k) with company matchComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid training and orientationSafety equipment providedPerformance and safety bonusesLayover pay and other bonus opportunities
