Systems Engineer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Patuxent River, MD.  This is an onsite position.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systemsReview and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentationApply engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource managementAnalyze, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate software components and systems that support the engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systemsProvide technical documentation support including development of briefs, white papers, and reportsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Engineering discipline3+ years of experience performing work related to Systems EngineeringMust have experience working with Military aircraft or counter Unmanned Aerial System (UAS)Proven ability to conduct briefings to Senior Military & Civil Service personnelPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting NAVAIR programs or related organizationsFamiliarity with the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) organization and operationsExperience collaborating across various functional teams to resolve technical problemsClearance Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active Secret clearancePhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
