We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Reverse engineer software, firmware, and hardware of target systems to identify potential vulnerabilities. Collaborate within teams to modify device firmware and software, enabling additional functionalities or alternative communication methods. Operationalize proof-of-concept code through rigorous testing, comprehensive documentation, and integration with sponsor systems. Propose innovative ideas for both internal and external funding opportunities. Articulate technical concepts through papers and presentations to diverse audiences, including government decision-makers, team members, and senior management.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of proven experience in reverse engineering or developing offensive cyber capabilities. Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals, internals, exploitation techniques, and mitigations. Development experience in low-level languages such as assembly or C/C++. Proficiency in using software or hardware debuggers for complex problem-solving. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
