Role Description We are seeking a skilled Set-up Machinist specializing in Milling and Turning for an on-site, full-time role in Richmond, MI. The selected candidate will set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines, perform machine adjustments, and ensure precision machining per blueprints, specifications, and production schedules. Responsibilities include conducting quality checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with the team to optimize production efficiency. Qualifications Strong proficiency in setting up and operating CNC milling and turning machinesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsKnowledge of precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesProficient in troubleshooting machining equipment and processesProblem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standardsPrevious experience in tight-tolerance machining is highly desirableBasic knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality systems is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification or relevant experience preferred
