Driver - CDL A - F600 w/Flatbed Delivering Construction Equipment

Overview: RPM Machinery (Indiana’s Case Construction Dealership) is seeking the right fit for our company to haul construction equipment throughout central Indiana. As a Class A CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will generally drive an F600 truck hauling equipment on a flatbed trailer in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required. Job Responsibilities: Provide a level of customer service that exceeds customer’s expectations. Perform safety checks on trucks and equipment Reporting to Rental Coordinator for delivery/pick-up assignments Deliver and pickup equipment in a safe and timely manner Check equipment fuel, fluid levels and proper operations before loading Rental contract, call off tickets and damage tickets are to be filled out completely and legibly and signed by proper person(s). Demonstrate the safe and correct operation of equipment at the time of delivery. Notify Rental Coordinator of damaged equipment. Maintain Delivery vehicle to present a clean and professional appearance. ELD Device will be used. Comply with all DOT regulations. Storage of equipment and vehicles in appropriate manner when not in use to prevent property damage. Complete any and all special assignments or projects from branch manager in a timely manner. Requirements and Qualifications Knowledge, skills and abilities typically required through a high school education with some technical training Class A CDL Minimum 2 years hauling experience flatbed hauling. Possess an innate sense of direction as well as proficient with GPS routing systems. Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful. Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening. Knowledge of construction equipment, and its operation, is preferred. Excellent customer service skills.
