Drop-Off Center Operators

Chittenden Solid Waste DistrictFull-time & Part-time openingsCSWD is seeking a highly motivated individual to work at various busy Drop-Off Centers. The full-time position works Tuesday-Saturday from 7:45am-3:45pm.  The part-time position works Saturday from 7:45am-3:45pm. Occasionally on-call days for Tuesday – Friday possible. You must enjoy interacting with the public, have the ability to operate a point-of-sale system (training provided) and be able to keep cool under pressure. Moderate physical effort is required as is the ability to work outdoors. Customer service experience a plus. Self-starters and those with a passion for reducing waste, recycling, and composting, are strongly encouraged to apply. Reliable transportation required to arrive at various sites on time. $21.52 per hour ($22.18 on July 1st) with an excellent benefits package.
