Work EnvironmentFully on site data center roleFast paced, mission critical production environmentStrong emphasis on safety, documentation, and process adherenceTeam oriented setting working alongside operations and engineering teamsData centers operate 24/7, so flexibility is importantWhat You'll Be DoingIn this role, you'llsupport infrastructure teams with the physical installation and maintenanceof server and network equipment, including:Rack, stack, andinstall servers, switches, and related hardwareInstall, test, andtroubleshoot fiber and copper cabling, patch panels, and patch cordsPerform structuredcabling and ensure installations meet data center standardsConduct hardwarewalkthroughs, inspections, and basic troubleshooting in live environmentsWork around serverracks, PDUs, CPUs, cooling zones, and access controlled infrastructureUse ticketingsystems (service tickets, Slack, email) to document work and report statusMaintain accurateinventory and documentationPartner with teammembers to move equipment from loading docks to rack locationsMaintain a clean,organized, and audit ready data center environmentFollow all safety, security, and operational proceduresRequired QualificationsThis is a physical,on site role. Candidates must be comfortable with:Rack & stack, cabling, or server installation experienceWorking from ladders up to 10 feetStanding and working on their feet for full shiftsLifting up to 40 lbs independently (group lifts for heavier items)Night, weekend, and holiday work as requiredFully on site work (no remote or hybrid)Ideal Backgrounds (Not Required, But a Plus)Data Center TechniciansLow voltage or structured cabling techniciansField service techniciansMechanical, electrical, or automotive techniciansMilitary or trade based technical backgroundsStrong technicalaptitude, problem solving skills, and a willingness to learn are key.Shift DetailsAfter training: 2:00PM - 12:00 AM, four days per weekSchedules typicallyfall on Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-SaturdayJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.63 - $22.63/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
