Our goal is to employ innovation and strategic thinking by capital project subject matter experts to deliver optimum project results.PTAG’s vision is to help our clients become global leaders in the selection, planning, and execution of their capital and sustaining projects.Our Values IncludeSafety: The safety of our employees, suppliers and clients is our top priorityCollaboration: Creating true partnerships with our clients and service providersLeadership: Improving project performance through the application of best practicesAccountability: Being accountable to our clients for every aspect of engagementClient Satisfaction: Delivering 100% client satisfaction on every projectIntegrity: Open and clear communication in every aspect of our businessLocation: Bangor, METype of Employment: ContractID# 6308Role & ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the project manager, provide the project team project cost estimating during all phases of the projects.Preparation of Cost Estimates from the Initiating Phase to the Project Close-Out of all assigned projects and for all disciplines.In collaboration with company project engineering, responsible for negotiating design modifications (with OE) and construction change orders with contractor.Work with Project Manager and Scheduler to develop and refine Integrated Master Schedules.Support Project Managers, as required, to plan projects, resolve issues and provide cost information.Establish estimating cost standards formats to ensure overall program consistency and cost quality.Support as directed new functions and requirements because of Risk Analysis Workshops such as contingency management and cost risk management.Document all Basis of Estimates and Estimate Revisions.Utilizes Document Control to archive current and historical estimates and supporting data utilized in estimate development.Support cost database development, management, and maintenance.Familiar with industry Cost Engineering Standards in addition to the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering and best practice 46R-11Qualifications / Requirements:Minimum 7 years of experience in estimating the design and construction of electric transmission (38kV and above) & distribution (15kV / 34.5kV) projects.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or relevant.
