Apply via Dice today!Portfolio Manager & PI Planning CoordinatorJob Type: Permanent Full TimeLocation: Dallas, Texas, United StatesDescription:Portfolio Manager & PI Planning CoordinatorPosition DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Portfolio Manager & PI Planning Coordinator to support business operations through a combination of ad hoc portfolio management activities and large-scale planning event coordination. This role operates in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and requires strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can synthesize information from multiple sources, manage competing priorities, and translate data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.Your future duties and responsibilitiesPortfolio Management & Ad Hoc Support Support portfolio management activities through ad hoc analysis, reporting, and presentation development Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple systems and stakeholders to provide clear insights and recommendations Develop executive-ready materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, Excel analyses) to communicate portfolio status and key updates Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to collect inputs, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment Operate effectively in ambiguous situations, taking initiative to define next steps and drive work forward Learn and apply internal tools, processes, and tracking mechanisms to support end-to-end portfolio visibility Document workflows and contribute to improving current processes, including identifying opportunities for future automationPI Planning Event Coordination Support coordination of enterprise-wide Program Increment (PI) Planning events conducted on a 12-week cadence Manage logistics for large-scale, in-person planning sessions (300+ attendees), including:Room reservations and space planningCoordination of materials (e.g., name tags, supplies)On-site event support and execution Monitor inventory and manage ordering of supplies to support ongoing planning events Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of planning activitiesRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Strong organizational and project coordination skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams Ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear, concise outputs Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal direction Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving________________________________________Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting PMO, portfolio management, or business operations functions Experience coordinating large-scale meetings or events Familiarity with enterprise tools (e.g., project tracking systems, reporting tools) Exposure to AI-enabled tools or interest in process automation is a plus#M1#DI-CB2#L1 - KB1Ref: #404-IT Pittsburgh
