This is a 12-month contract position working in Plano, TX (Onsite). We are offering a pay rate up to $76 per hour W2 based on skill set. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.Duration: 12-monthsLocation: Plano, TX (Onsite)TMO Scoping Network Engineer responsible for designing, tuning, and optimizing large‑scale radio networks, including 5G NR, 4G LTE, and IoT services. Leads multiple projects, coordinates with cross‑functional teams, and drives performance improvements through advanced planning and analysis tools. Works primarily from the Plano, TX office and travels as required.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design and planning of large‑scale radio networks using tools such as Planet EV and Atoll.Conduct link budget calculations and Monte Carlo analyses to validate coverage and capacity.Perform event analysis and drive‑test data evaluation to identify and resolve HO, retainability, and accessibility issues.Optimize network parameters with tools like TEMS, Actix, Agilent, and R&S to improve system performance.Recommend and implement RAN feature experiments based on traffic analysis.Coordinate technical activities across multiple departments and vendors.Develop and maintain comprehensive cell plans, including tilt, azimuth, and site location recommendations.Analyze layer‑3 messaging and KPIs to identify tuning opportunities.Prepare and deliver clear technical presentations to project managers and customers.Manage project schedules, deliverables, and customer expectations independently.QualificationsMinimum ten (10) years experience in radio network design, implementation, and optimization.Proven leadership of five or more projects, including at least two large‑scale (metropolitan or statewide) initiatives.Expertise in 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, LAA, 4G LTE, IoT, CBRS, and multi‑vendor environments.Deep understanding of layer‑3 messages for 4G and 5G networks.Proficiency with planning tools such as Planet EV, Atoll, and ACP.Experience conducting Monte Carlo and link budget analyses.Skilled in optimization tools TEMS, Actix, Agilent, and R&S.Knowledge of the organization’s ENM and RAN optimization processes.Ability to analyze drive‑test data and resolve complex performance issues.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with MS Office and ability to travel extensively within the US.Must hold required certifications and complete training as required by the organization.
