Dental Hygienist

If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please send us your resume for review!Pay: $48Schedule: 1 - 3 days per weekResponsibilitiesEnsure patients feel comfortable throughout their appointmentConduct initial mouth screenings and update health historyClean and help protect patients' teethEducate patients of all ages on proper hygiene (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)Give instructions to patients after dental proceduresTake X-rays as neededMaintain documentation and chart notes on each patientMonitor supplies and restock roomsSterilize dental instruments properlyHelp with laundry and other tasks as neededBe able to maintain a good work flow and stay on time.Help schedule recare appointmentsMaintain a clean and safe work environment.Treatment plan according to instructions provided by the doctorBe a team playerQualifications:Proven experience as a Dental HygienistIn-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA/OSHA)Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipmentOutstanding communication skillsThe right candidate needs to have a friendly personalityAttention to detailStamina to meet the physical demands of the jobReliability and professionalismRequirements:RDH CertificationRadiology LicenseAssociate degree from ADA accredited dental hygienist schoolCurrent State LicensureCPR CertificationPreferred one-year dental experienceCertified in administering anesthesiaCompensation
