Senior Accountant
**Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented professional to play a crucial role in our company's financial management. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting, and providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
**Duties:**
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Maintain and reconcile our general ledger and accounts payable records.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage and prepare financial reports, including financial statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly authorized.
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of our financial records.
- Manage and maintain our accounting system.
- Provide training and support to junior accounting staff.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, must be in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, including financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting and general ledger reconciliation.
- Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with ERP and MRP and other accounting software.
- Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,178.00 - $80,121.00 per year
