Flat Welder - Weekend Shift Night Shift

Job Title: Flat Welding - Welder Shift: Weekend Shift, 5pm-5am Job Description: To assist in the fabrication of the parts Maintain production schedule Maintain a safe and clean work area Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance PM’s that are the operator’s responsibility Complete all production and quality documentation Maintain acceptable weld appearance Maintain and operate a mig welder Maintain acceptable production rate within the skill level Make quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship are compliant with engineering requirements and productions expectations Job Qualifications: Demonstrate superior service skill(s) and professionalism in day-to-day dealings with coworkers, setting a good example in attendance and work ethics. Willingness to learn Continually demonstrate good attendance practices, minimizing unplanned absences Ensures adherence to company policies and work rules, as well as ensuring a safe work environment is maintained Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude Strive to continually improve quality, safety, and productivity within your department. Able to complete all documents pertaining to the process Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions) Read a tape measure to within 1/16” A general understanding of common hand tools is preferred. High School diploma or GED equivalent Good communication skills, both written and verbal Able to read and understand all engineering prints related to the process Able to determine good weld quality during the welding process and make correction as needed Assist in other areas of the shop when needed Maintain the required welder certification within the skill level Physical Requirements: Manufacturing and outdoor environments Continuous standing, sitting, squatting, bending, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday Lifting of 50 lbs or more with assistance; two-person lift or mechanical Wear PPE when required 12-hour shifts, paid lunch Friday-Sunday Work 34.5 hours and paid for 40 Evapco’s Summary of Pay & Benefits: The salary range consists of base pay and most recent profit sharing bonus amounts and shift differential Medical, Vision, & Dental Insurance Employee Stock Ownership Program – we are an employee-owned company Profit Sharing Bonus – which is paid twice per year Pretax Savings & Investment Plan Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave Bereavement Pay Company Paid Basic Life Insurance equivalent to base salary, with option for Supplemental Life election Sick Leave Long Term Disability
