This role requires both analytical precision and elevated taste level. In close collaboration with our teams in Paris, and key internal stakeholders, you will help ensure alignment between global vision and local market opportunity.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspire passion for our Women's Ready-to-Wear internally and externally.Support the development and execution of seasonal buying strategies for Women's RTWAssist in curating market-specific assortments aligned with brand vision and commercial opportunityPartner with buyer to analyze sales performance and identify actionable insights to drive category growthMonitor business by store and SKU to optimize stock levels and maximize local opportunitiesSupport core replenishment strategy and inventory optimizationPrepare weekly, seasonal, and ad hoc business recaps with clear recommendationsPartner with global teams in Paris on product feedback, pricing strategy, and regional market needsAct as liaison between regional and global partnersDevelop strong partnerships with store leaders to capture qualitative and quantitative feedbackLead and support in-store product trainings to inspire product knowledge and brand storytellingMaintain strong awareness of competitive landscape and evolving client profilesCollaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, E-Commerce, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Public Relations, Supply Chain, and Client ServicesPROFILEDeep passion for the brand and the Women's RTW categoryStrong taste level and appreciation for luxury product and designDemonstrated business acumen with solid retail math expertise (sell-through, stock-to-sales, inventory turn, etc.)Highly analytical with advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners3-4 years of buying experience within luxury retail (RTW preferred)Bachelor's degree requiredWillingness to travel internationally (Paris) and domestically as neededA reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $80,000-84,000, plus bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and a retirement plan with employer contributionsSaint Laurent is committed to building a diverse workforce.
