DSPs must be available to work no less than 8 hours weekly. Responsibilities may include:Supporting individuals in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming householdHelping with daily living skills such as meal prep, laundry, shopping, cleaning, and personal hygieneEncouraging independence while providing respectful assistance with health and safety needsProviding transportation to appointments, errands, and community activitiesBuilding meaningful connections and encouraging friendshipsDocumenting services accurately and keeping communication open with CFL managementAttending trainings, team meetings, and professional development sessionsPromoting inclusion in the community and celebrating milestones, big or smallPhysical DemandsDSPs may assist with mobility, including transfers with a Hoyer lift and mobility aids (training provided). This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, kneel, and maintain safe body mechanics while assisting others. CFL has a no single-lift policy to ensure the safety of both staff and individuals supported.Job TypeFlexible, variable part-time position.
