Schwab’s Cybersecurity team is a first line of defense for Schwab.In this role within the Access Risk & Controls organization, you will join the Directory Services Data Governance Team as a central point of contact for Schwab Cybersecurity Services and act as a resource for technology related to Active Directory and cloud identity directories. The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to creating and maintaining monitoring, root cause analysis, and gap remediation.Other successful qualities include: Resilient, self-starter, able to work with limited supervision, and able to work well with others in a team environment while coaching less-experienced team members. Excellent English verbal and written communications skills with the ability to partner and collaborate with other teams effectively across the enterprise.What you haveRequired QualificationsBasic understanding of directories such as Active Directory, RadiantLogic, and Cloud (Azure Entra ID, GCP, AWS) directoriesBasic understanding of service principals and secrets managementA drive to research problems and analyze dataThe ability to manage team projects with other team members and participate in cross-functional projectsTranslating high-level business objectives into technical requirementsA Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related fieldPreferred QualificationsMonitoring and documenting cybersecurity metrics and activities for portions of assigned systems and areasUtilizing a risk-based approach to solving problemsWorking with minimal supervision on new assignmentsExplaining complicated information at a level appropriate to the audienceTranslating complicated information and effectively communicating alternatives to considerExperience in PowerShell or other scripting language(s) and/or automation technologiesInteracting with high-level individual contributors and managersWhat’s in it for youAt Schwab, you’re empowered to shape your future.
