You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. Your goal should be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESServes patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.Provides information to help food and beverage selections.Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests.Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting patrons to return.Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.FOOD RUNNERQUALIFICATIONSBasic knowledge of food and beverage service operational procedures that would normally be acquired through at least 6 months previous similar experience.PURPOSEFood runners communicate orders and with expeditor to ensure orders are complete, that food is cooked in the right order, quickly, and presented to the customer as beautifully as possible before running to the appropriate table or bar seat.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESFood runners must be safety conscious and in compliance with all laws concerning the safety of others.Requires a friendly, highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision.Make sure orders are delivered in a timely manner, so that all orders for a table are ready at the same time.Ensure that once food is cooked, it is run to the table while it's warm and ready.Tell servers when the kitchen is out of a particular menu item.Perform daily cleaning tasks assigned by supervisor.Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Friendly demeanor with a sense of urgency.HOSTQUALIFICATIONSBasic knowledge of food and beverage service operational procedures that would normally be acquired through at least 6 months previous similar experience.Willing to cross-train on different positionsPURPOSEThe Host/Hostess greets all players, members, and guests upon arrival to the dining area. Making members and guests feel welcome and expeditiously escorting all players, members, and guests to tables to ensure expedient, quality service.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESGreet all arriving players, members and guests at assigned station in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome and at easeEscort all arriving players, members and guests to their desired dining location, present menus and inform them of who their server will bePromptly notify servers of newly seated tables to ensure prompt service to guests. Maintain constant contact with servers to ensure they are not behind and are able to provide the expected service level to all guestsContinually assess the dining room and make sure the seating chart is accurate based on open tablesSchedule dining reservations and arrange special services for players, members and guests as requested.Check voicemails to assure all reservations have been properly recorded and with complete guest information.Take to-go orders accurately and relay to bartender to input in the POS systemKnow lunch & dinner menus to ensure you are able to answer all guest questions.Ensure that workstations are neat, clean, and properly set according to TPC standards, including podium, doorways, and dining room entryways. Participate in the continuous cleaning and up-keep of all Food and Beverage areasKeep the station always stocked with required supplies. Inspect all menus and ensure that all are current, clean and in good conditionBid a fond farewell to all departing players, members, and guests thanking them for their visit. Inquire as to how their visit was and ask them to returnAdvise supervisor of any special guests and department heads dining in restaurantAdvise supervisor of any member/guest complaints so they can be immediately and professionally resolvedAttend pre-shift meetings as requested by the supervisory staff.Understands members and guests' comments and complaints and forwards that information immediately to supervisorAssist serving staff with table maintenance pre-cleaning, cleaning and resettingComplete daily assigned side-workSpecial projects or other duties as assignedCome to work with a smile, your full work uniform, a positive attitude and a willingness to give us your all.WORKING CONDITIONSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.
