Machine Operator

3rd Shift Machine Operator Needed- Naugatuck, CTCKS Packaging is currently looking for blow molding machine operators to add to our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring blow molding equipment to produce plastic containers according to company standards. This role will involve machine setup, quality checks, and routine maintenance to ensure efficient and consistent production.What's in it for you?Stable, growing organization with opportunity for future advancement of qualified candidatesCompetitive pay based on experience and qualificationsPaid vacation, sick days, and bonus after eligibility period metExcellent medical, dental, and vision benefits at modest employee contributions401k participation with company matching contributions upon completion of first 30 days of serviceResponsibilities:Responsible for required adjustments needed to fulfill the product specification requirements such as weight, color distribution, and cycle times.Retrieves PLC programming information, evaluate, and makes adjustmentsControl and adjust machine settingsEnsures adherence to quality standardsWill be responsible for daily production records and quality control records for any and all lines assigned to operateAnswer machine alarms as they occur and address the root cause.Coordinate process operations to ensure efficiency, including, communicate with production personnelMust be able to keep up to date on process alterations and general procedures by reading logs, special procedures and posted noticesResponsible for housekeeping & maintaining a clean work areaTroubleshoot, preventative maintenance and minor repair on blow mold and support equipmentPerform daily set up and bottle size changeovers on all equipmentQualifications:Prior experience with blow molding machines is helpful, but not requiredDemonstrate mechanical skillsDemonstrate knowledge of hand toolsPossess the required tools to successfully perform job dutiesDemonstrate ability to properly startup and shut down blow molding machinesPosses basic processing skillsDemonstrate working knowledge of computer and touch screen operation3rd Shift (Monday - Saturday) 11:00pm-7:00am
