Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in fast-paced food and beverage environments. As a key member of our team, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while efficiently managing drink orders and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a background in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service settings. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
Manage multiple drink orders while maintaining excellent time management skills during busy periods
Ensure proper food handling and food safety protocols are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and utensils in accordance with health regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
Assist with setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions when required
Uphold all safety standards related to alcohol service and responsible beverage service policies
Experience
Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to serve diverse clientele effectively
Experience in retail math, basic math skills for cash handling, and hospitality operations are advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques within the food industry
Experience working in the beverage industry including brewing or catering is a plus
Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality service standards
