Experienced and entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.Geotechnical Driller Assistant Responsibilities and DutiesMobilization of drilling equipment and supplies to various locations throughout New York StateAssist with maintaining drill rigs and associated equipment to execute geotechnical and environmental investigation programs in accordance with industry standards and project specific scopes of workOperate in a safe manner according to OSHA and project specified standardsPrepare boring, test pit, and monitor well construction logsAssist with Installation of geotechnical instrumentationEffectively communicate with Drillers and other members of the project teamGeotechnical Driller Assistant Qualifications and SkillsAble to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 75 poundsExperience operating and/or hauling heavy equipmentMechanical aptitude and enjoy working with and around machineryGood communication and problem-solving skillsBasic math skillsWilling to travel throughout New York StateA valid New York State Class A CDL driver's licenseA positive attitude, with ability to work independently and in a team environmentEnjoying working outdoors in a hands-on environmentATL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
