Marketing Analyst and Market Research Specialist
The Marketing Analyst and Market Research Specialist will be responsible for working with our Commercial team to extract data and information from our CRM and Marketing Automation systems and turn that information into meaningful insights to help inform the team’s tactics and strategies. He/She/They will also be responsible for market and marketing research projects in support of the Commercial team and cross functionally. This role will report to the AVP of Marketing.Duties And ResponsibilitiesAnalyze available data from CRM and MarTech systems and share insights with Commercial team and the broader organizationProduce and audit the monthly Marketing KPI reportsUndertake quantitative and qualitative research and information gathering (competitive,market conditions, customer segments, etc.)Assist with Customer Experience research and reporting for the broader organization (NPS,Customer Success surveys, Road Service surveys, etc.)Assist with broader market research analysis and reporting including macro-economicbusiness indicatorsManage the lead queue and top of the funnel activity in Salesforce.comAct as the Marketing team’s point person for tactical data improvement efforts with other cross functional teamsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing research/analytics requiredAt least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a B2B marketing research or analytics role required – experience in the Transportation industry strongly preferred but not requiredExceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilitiesA passion for statistical research, a desire to “live in the data”, a genuine curiosity to see what can be found through analysisAbility to turn data and analysis into digestible business insightsFamiliarity with a broad range of CRM and Marketing Technology solutions preferred (Salesforce.com, Pardot, GA4, media monitoring tools, SEO tools, etc.)Familiarity with the calculation of a range of typical marketing and sales KPIs (funnel metrics, conversion rates, acquisition cost models, etc.)Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel requiredExperience with SQL and Tableau preferredSelf-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining close attention to detailComfort level and ability to work cross functionally at all levels of the organization (administrative to senior leadership)Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening.BenefitsWe understand that your role at DCLI is only part of who you are.
