Material Handler

Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEW:The Material Handler will help maintain warehouse stock and assist in fulfilling orders. The Material Handler will be responsible for loading and unloading product deliveries, staging products, and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Move product to and from loading areas.Sort product during loading and unloadingEnsure ingoing and outgoing product is appropriately labeledDocuments product shipments, deliveries, and locations.Load and unload trucksOther duties as assigned by TASJOB SKILLS:Ability to operate a forklift in a safe mannerStrong organizational skillsEDUCATION & TRAINING:High school diplomaMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:2 years of experience operating a forkliftPrevious experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environmentAble to lift 50lbs.Read and speak English fluentlyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work performed in a shop environment;Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable;Requires normal vision and absence of color blindnessPhysical effort equal to frequent moving of up to 50lbs materials;Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach; with occasional climbing of stairs, steps, and laddersThe use of Safety Glasses is required;The use of earplugs is recommended;Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day (with a lunch in between) and up to 6 days a week;Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.Steel-toe boots required in Manufacturing Facility
