Index & Commodities Trade Support Specialist

Trade Support SpecialistMillennium is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Trade Support Specialist to join our Operations team. This position offers exposure to multiple markets and the opportunity to work across teams globally, partnering directly with portfolio managers and our Prime Brokers. The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying strategic projects and able to drive them through completion, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.Principal ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper trade capture upon execution of all Global Futures and Futures Options across the firmCoordinate directly with Portfolio Manager and Execution Desk to resolve all breaks as raisedMonitor trade queues throughout the daySupport compliance with applicable regulatory rulesMonitor expiry of Futures and Futures Options positionsSupport new product onboardingAssist with systems implementation and enhancementsQualifications / Skills Required5+ years of experience at a financial services firm in a trade support, operations, middle office, or similar roleStrong product knowledge of Index and Commodities (including Power and Gas) Futures, FTR knowledge a plusBachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (finance, economics, accounting, etc.)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with PMs and brokersAbility to work independentlyProficiency with ExcelWell-organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task and manage deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsThe estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
