We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic Foreman to oversee and manage the maintenance and repair of our internal fleet of vehicles and equipment. This position is responsible for leading shop operations, coordinating and processing vehicle repairs, and ensuring our service bodies remains safe, reliable, and ready to support field operations.This is an internal role supporting company operations. The position does not require customer service or sales to the public, allowing you to focus on fleet management, repair oversight, and maintaining high-quality mechanical standards.Main ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily activities within the automotive shopDiagnose, perform, and oversee repairs and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipmentPrioritize repair schedules to support operational and fleet availability needsProvide technical guidance and support to mechanicsMaintain fleet maintenance records and documentation while communicating repair status and reporting to headquartersEnsure compliance with safety procedures and company policiesCoordinate parts ordering and inventory for shop needsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce fleet downtimeOn occasion may require field visits for repairs RequirementsMinimum of five years of recent and relevant experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic, including one year in lead or supervisor roleStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsExperience working with medium-duty fleet vehiclesAbility to organize shop workflow and manage repair prioritiesPossess a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record with fewer than two points within the past five yearsAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test and background checkSuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states.
