As ADP's Global Security Organization (GSO), we know that our clients rely on us for human capital management solutions, but beyond that, they entrust us with one of their most valuable assets -- their employee are honored by this trust and are laser focused on securing data at every step in the information lifecycle, ensuring integrity, confidentiality and compliance with industry and government regulations at all times.From the cloud to the data center and across every emerging device, you'll join a team of experts in the GSO who are always staying one step ahead in this ever-changing world of data by continually evolving our strategies and technologies to protect ADP and our clients.POSITION SUMMARY:As Lead Cyber Security Engineer, you will join a highly skilled team providing world-class security program engineering, security consultation and security technology implementation for ADP's Global Security Organization (GSO).This includes global deployment of technologies such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Compliance and Vulnerability Management (CVM), Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), Cloud Security Posture Management (CPSM), Security Orchestration Automation Response (SOAR), Data Warehouses both on premises and across cloud providers.The Lead Security Engineer will have a deep cross-functional understanding of both logical and physical security supported by practical application. They will be required to interact with the Converged Security Architecture Team, Project Management Team, and global IT Teams to develop and enhance the security program.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead global security projects, strategy, design, architecture and deployment of security tools across multiple data centers and cloud environmentsIdentify, troubleshoot and resolve highly complex problemsMaintain, upgrade and continuously improve security solutionsWorking closely with vendors to PoC security solutions and provide recommendations to management, along with implement security solutionsCreate, update and review documentation for deployed security solutionsAbility to work individually or within a groupCollaborate with IT, Project Management and clients on requirements and deployment of security technologiesMaintain an expert level understanding of attacks, vectors and emergent threatsContinuous learning of new skills and technologiesStrong/effective time management and organizational skillsGeneral understanding of regulatory requirements such as GPDR, HIPPA, PCI DSS and maintaining compliance with such standardsProvide consulting to the business and IT to adhere with ADP's security standards and best practicesPartner with other security teams to identify and implement technology or process improvements that mature our security servicesParticipate and provide feedback in interviews for new candidates within the engineering teamMentor and provide guidance and training to junior team membersHandover and provide training to operations team for maintenance and upkeep of technologiesQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:8+ years' experience in Cybersecurity, including designing and deploying security solutionsStrong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols and best practicesPrevious management and deployment of security solutions such as: CVM, DLP, SIEM, UDP, SOAR, DPI, IDS, EDR, DBMSStrong working experience with server deployment, best practices and management (VM's, Hardware, K8s) across Windows and LinuxKnowledge and working experience with data warehouse and data lake technologiesPrior working experience with SSO configuration, Entra ID and Active DirectoryStrong working experience with one or more cloud provider's: AWS, Azure, GCPDeep understanding of core IT concepts: DNS/DHCP, TCP-IP stack, Unix/Windows Operations systemsStrong analytical and cross functional knowledge across multiple security disciplinesHighly experienced in troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal presentation and written communication skillsPossess a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and the ability to work independentlyPrior working experience of scripting/automation in programming languages (Python, Ansible, or PowerShell) and interacting with API'sGreat understanding and working experience in network security, encryption, and identity management solutionsCore knowledge and understanding of most major TCP/IP application protocols (DNS, SMTP, HTTP, BGP, LDAP, IMAP, SSH, FTP, KRB5, DHCP, CIFS)Participation in Security and compliance Audits security incident management. risk assessments, identify gaps and document action itemsOne or more certifications in: CISSP, GSEC, GCIA, CISA, CRISC, CISM, PMP, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud certificationsExperience with GenAI and LLMTo Succeed in This Role:You'll have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:Cloud experience and Cloud CertificationsExtensive Systems Administration Experience in both Linux and WindowsAdvanced Scripting (Python) and familiarity with API'sPrior experience managing Kubernetes environmentsAutomation experiencing using AnsibleSecurity CertificationsYOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:Have courageous team at epic scale.Be surrounded by curious learners.Act like an owner & doer.Give back to others.Join a company committed to equality and equity.What are you waiting for?
