Occupational Therapist in Universal City, TX

Deliver specialized occupational therapy services within a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation setting, focused on supporting patients recovering from severe injuries and illnesses. This contract opportunity is based in Universal City, TX, offering a Monday through Friday schedule that supports work-life balance.Responsibilities:Provide customized, intensive occupational therapy treatments tailored to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to maximize recovery outcomes.Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercise programs to support continued improvement.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.Qualifications:Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license.Experience in hospital or acute rehabilitation therapy settings preferred.Strong knowledge of neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care.Location: Situated in Universal City, TX, this role offers proximity to the San Antonio metropolitan area, a vibrant community known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse dining options, and outdoor recreational activities.
