RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BEThe Processing equipment operator's primary duties will be:Comply with all established safety rules and regulations. Work in a safe manner and look out for your co-worker's safety.Ensure all safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP) are accurately followed and documentedActively participates and is engaged in safety initiatives, problem solving, Lean, Self-Directed Teams, continuous improvement and line efficiencies.Responsible for maintaining quality product standards as established by Louisville Distilling Company,and all products produced under the trademark.Ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP), International Standardization Organization (ISO) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Chemical Hygiene, as implemented.Connect hoses to incoming tankers to unload bulk liquidOperate equipment to transfer, filter, sample, and batch product and product ingredients in preparation for transfer to bottling operations.Ability to work and communicate with outside contractors both inside and outside the facility in a courteous and professional manner.Perform preventative maintenance to include cleaning of spirits processing equipment, maintaining supplies, and perform inspection on processing equipment for all spirits products.Adjust products to specifications, including calculating adjustment required based on product analysisPerform Clean in Place (CIP) sanitation.Ensure constant product supply to bottling plant.Must be able to work any shift and/or overtime as requiredActively participates with development and compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM).Perform functions associate with changeovers and autonomous maintenance on equipmentParticipate in Lean project activities to improve overall plant performancePerform housekeeping activities as requiredOther activities to support the Processing department*SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACYMeasures cover measurable KPI improvements such as:Adherence to schedulePlant Uptime (single barrel)Safety ObservationsLiquid RFTEXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS - DEGREE, CERTIFICATION, ADDITIONAL TRAININGMinimum High School diploma.3-5 years of experinceAbility to supervise processing assistant and multi-task.Ability to bend, lift and carry 40 lbs. and perform repetitive work actions.Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and outdoors as needed.Ability to follow directions, perform simple math calculations and complete recordkeeping as neededProficiency with Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with SAP, DRAMS, Stillhouse and other softwareGood verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work well as a team member or independently.Valid US Class D driver's licensePERSONAL QUALITIES - SHARE OUR FOUNDER'S PASSION AND ENTREPRENEURIAL FLAIRLiving our Values and demonstrating high Learning Agility will be fundamental not only for success in this role, but also for potential growth to other roles across Louisville Distilling Company in the future.
