Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Part-time In-Home Caregivers/HHA to provide exceptional care to clients in . This role involves supporting individuals with various health conditions, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and individuals requiring memory or hospice care. Responsibilities
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor and observe patient condition, reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals
Administer medications and manage medical routines following prescribed instructions
Operate EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of care provided and medical records management
Support with medical procedures including vital signs measurement, catheter care, and medication administration
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation or dementia-related confusion
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with patient transfers
Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
Document care activities accurately within medical documentation systems
Experience
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care preferred
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia/Alzheimer’s care highly desirable
Familiarity with medical terminology, hospice care protocols, and long-term care practices beneficial
Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation standards required
CPR certification is preferred; training can be provided if necessary
Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with patients requiring memory or hospice care
Experience in medication management and administering treatments in a home setting is advantageous
Prior caregiving experience involving patient observation, assisting with ADLs, and providing home & community care support is highly valued
