Project Specialist - Pastoral Care

This role is 100% on-site at our Franklin, TN headquarters.
Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily
Work closely with Director of Pastoral Care on spiritual engagement projects, including brainstorming, conceptualizing, vision-sharing, planning, and executing.
Assist with expanding Pastoral Care digital properties; such as mobile apps, website and content creation, including aspects of project management, product development, and content creation.
Assist with the planning of spiritual engagement events for the team worship meetings, including Audio Visual requirements.
Especially during pledge drive, collect and document listener stories or listener call experiences. Work with Digital Media to share the organization’s testimonials internally and externally.
Prepare important communication items for Pastoral Care department (PowerPoints, Videos, email communications). In addition, coordinate and assist in writing communications, responding to emails and interfacing with team members, partners, and vendors, as needed.
Assist in writing faith-based content, as needed.
Prepare Design concept mockups for the Design Studio Team’s execution, as needed.
Provide technical and administrative support to spiritual engagement initiatives put on for the K-LOVE team.
Collaborate with other departments across the ministry on media projects that require pastoral input, as needed.
Assist department in vetting potential ministry/third party partnerships (speakers, podcasts, events).
Mentor and lead the internship program in the Pastoral Care Department, as needed. Assist with the interview and selection process of the interns for the department.
Participate in event and outreach initiatives off-campus as requested and approved.
Contribute to an environment in which the K-LOVE Ministry Department will grow as the ministry’s audience grows. Continually seek new resources and groups that will help expand the department’s mission to provide spiritual help and resources to the audience.
Pray with and for our listeners. Respond verbally and in writing to prayer requests that come in on a daily basis via phone and/or e-mail as needed.

We are looking for a very specific skill set and business acumen. Here's some experience we are seeking:
Minimum of 2 years hands-on ministry or customer service environment preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate discernment on spiritual issues and have excellent listening skills.
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of ministry, scripture and non-profit environment.
Strong computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Saleforce, Wrike, One Note and in addition to Social Media forums and smart devices.
Graphic design experience is a plus
Proficiency in editing video/audio
Knowledge of coding a plus.
Proficiency in WordPress and/or the understanding of how to manage an intranet website, a plus
Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem solve, and contribute to the Pastors/Pastoral Care Teams.
Exhibits versatility and flexibility. Regularly adapts to change while maintaining a positive attitude and high productivity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop sincere business and ministry relationships.
Demonstrated ability to represent ministry professionally and maintain listener confidentiality
