This is a dynamic, high-volume environment where you’ll play a vital role in supporting both patients and providers—especially through nurse triage call line support and direct patient care.If you thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy multitasking, and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care—this is the role for you.What You’ll DoSupport providers and patients across both clinical and administrative functions:Clinical ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and obtain vital signsCollect and update medical and medication historiesPrepare patients for exams and assist providers during proceduresPerform basic diagnostic testing (EKGs, glucose checks, urine dips, etc.)Reinforce patient education provided by the care teamMaintain clean, stocked, and organized exam roomsAdministrative & Care CoordinationManage nurse triage call line (Monday–Thursday)Assist with scheduling, referrals, and follow-up careComplete prior authorizations and precertification'sHandle front desk tasks (phones, check-in/out, documentation)Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EHRWhy You’ll Love This Role✅ High-impact role supporting a specialized patient population✅ Collaborative, team-focused environment✅ Opportunity to grow your clinical and administrative skillset✅ Be part of Mercy’s mission-driven, patient-centered care teamMedical AssistantWhat We’re Looking ForEducation: High School Diploma or GED.Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.Certified Medical AssistantEducation: High School Diploma or GED.Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA).
