Stage Management Production Assistant- Devised Theater EnsembleBarrington Stage Company, an award-winning professional theatre company located in the heart of the Berkshires, is seeking a Production Assistant to join our education team from June 29- July 30, 2026, supporting the Devised Theater Ensemble.Barrington Stage has a three-fold mission: to produce top-notch, compelling work; to develop new plays and musicals; and to engage our community with vibrant, inclusive educational outreach programs. We strongly encourage candidates of color, and/or from diverse backgrounds/underrepresented groups to apply.Duties:Work closely with Production Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Managers to keep rehearsal rooms on schedule.Assist with tracking props and changes during the rehearsal processAssisting in the creation of paperwork necessary for backstage trackingBeing on deck during productions and supporting the Stage Crew & Stage Management Team.Maintain and update stage management inventoryAssist in the purchasing/ordering of stage management suppliesAssist in tracking stage management expensesMaintain a safe and healthy work environmentOther duties as assignedSkills:Stage management experience requiredExperience working with youthKnowledge of other technical areas is a plusStrong interpersonal skills to interface with staff, interns, and artistsShould know Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google SuiteStrong stage management and paperwork skillsMust be comfortable standing for extended periodsStrong organizational skills and detail-oriented
