Mechanical AssemblerWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to support final assembly and hydrostatic testing of equipment used in the oil and gas industry. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, safety, and performance before equipment is released for service.Position OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for final assembly work and hydrostatic testing of components such as valves, pipelines, and related equipment. You will work closely with the assembly team to ensure all products meet strict engineering and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform final assembly of components including valves, pipelines, and oil & gas equipmentConduct hydrostatic testing to verify product integrity and performanceInspect components for defects and verify compliance with engineering specificationsIdentify, document, and report any non-conformances or issuesFollow and enforce all safety procedures during assembly and testingParticipate in safety meetings and support a strong safety cultureCollaborate with team members to maintain quality and production goalsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical certification or vocational training preferredExperience in mechanical assembly, preferably in oil & gas or industrial environmentsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specificationsStrong understanding of quality and safety standardsSkills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and quality focusGood problem-solving and troubleshooting abilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentBenefits$17$22/hr based on experienceCompetitive benefits package (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.)Opportunities for long-term growth and advancement
