In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using the carpenter’s hand and power tools. Must have personal updated tools. Company will supply major tools. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you. ResponsibilitiesFollow all safety rules and regulationsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentUse blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials neededConstruct wood structures including framing, joists, and raftersExperience with installing project protection, demolition, hanging drywall and pouring small concrete projects.Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardwareInteract with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionalsQualificationsPrevious professional experience as a Lead Carpenter and have toolsStrong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurementsAbility to read and take action on blueprintsAbility to safely operate hand and power carpentry toolsKnowledge of building regulations and codesAbility to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
