Low-Voltage Technician

*Must be able to work on-site in Ellendale, ND*TechnicianInstall low voltage systems to meet the customer's specifications in a commercial setting. Work independently and/or lead small teams.Essential DutiesInstall low voltage systems, cabling infrastructure, and equipment in commercial/industrial sites in a neat and organized mannerPerform all cable pulling, cable supports, fireproofing, terminating, and testing in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local regulationsTest cable infrastructure to ensure performance meets TIA standardsRead and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and project manuals to properly program and verify new systemsEnsure all schedules and deadlines are metWork independently or as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficientlySupervise and maintain the work performance of small teams, including training as necessaryEnforce work rules, safety rules, and other Company policiesMaintain a professional appearance and attitudeMaintain regular and acceptable attendance and punctualityOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent5+ years of experience requiredFiber Optic Experience or Training preferred such as FOA certificationBICSI Installer 1 and/or BICSI Installer 2 highly preferredWorking conditions40 + hour work weekPotential for overtime, night, and weekend workPhysical requirementsThe ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of timeAble to work on your feet for an entire dayAbility to climb ladders throughout the dayAble to grasp, push, pull, and carry objectsGood hand-eye coordinationAble to work at heights and in confined or awkward spacesAble to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawlSenior TechnicianInstall low voltage systems to meet the customer's specifications in a commercial setting. Low voltage systems are installed to meet the customer's specifications in commercial settings.High School Diploma or GED equivalent9+ years of experience requiredFiber Optic Experience or Training preferred such as FOA certificationBICSI Installer 1 and/or BICSI Installer 2 highly preferredBICSI Technician certification preferred
