Bartender

Position OverviewThe Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests in the Grill Room and during club events. This role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere while preparing and serving beverages with efficiency, consistency, and professionalism. The Bartender plays an important role in enhancing the overall club experience by delivering attentive service and maintaining a high standard of hospitality during daily operations and special events. Key ResponsibilitiesBar & Beverage ServicePrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards Provide friendly, attentive service to members and guests seated at the bar and in the Grill Room Maintain thorough knowledge of the club's beverage offerings, including beer, wine, cocktails, and specialty drinks Monitor member accounts and process transactions accurately through the POS system Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all state and club regulations Member ServiceGreet members and guests promptly and create a welcoming environment Engage with members to provide a personalized and enjoyable club experience Respond to member requests and ensure service is timely and attentive Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to support overall dining operations Bar OperationsMaintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times Assist with stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies Prepare the bar for daily service and special events Follow all safety, sanitation, and club service standards Assist with setup and breakdown for tournaments, banquets, and club functions when needed QualificationsPrevious bartending or hospitality experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment Basic POS and cash handling experience preferred Core CompetenciesMember-first service mentality Attention to detail Professional and friendly demeanor Team-oriented mindset Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment Must be at least 18 years of age (required to legally serve alcohol) Availability to work evenings, weekends, and club events TIPS Certification
