Entry-level, very junior Python Developer

Job is with an international/foreign Investment Bank. Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders. Additionally, candidates must be local to NYC/NJ and interview in-person. Work schedule: Fully onsite (M-F 8 hrs per day)RAPID Application Developer in the Equities Trading Desk environment at $31.81/hour on W2 for long-term contracting.Job Description:Required skills: Required experience with GitLab and PostGRES SQL.Python, object oriented programming, asynchronous programming, data structuresPreferred skills:Experience with derivatives pricing or pricing systems (e.g. Numerix / Murex / QuantLib)Development of Web UIDuties:Build integration layer within our inhouse Python STARK platform to price instruments in Murex and EQLMaintain PROD and UAT servers dedicated to running our Python codeAssist with code maintenance and refactoringBuild user interfaces to access the above and various other data services1-3 years of experienceEducation: A Masters in Computer Science ideally.
