The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of database systems in a cloud environment.Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB instances Perform database performance tuning and optimization Manage backup, recovery, and data import/export processes Create and manage IAM roles and policies for secure access control Utilize AWS Management Console for provisioning and managing resources Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, ELK, and DatadogRequired Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, and Datadog Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab Strong understanding of database performance tuning and cloud best practicesPreferred: Experience in DevOps practices and automation Knowledge of security and compliance in AWS environments
