Medical insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Strategic Sourcing Manager for our Engineering division.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing strategic sourcing activities in line with the company's objectives to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and ensure quality and delivery performance.This role plays a critical part in our supply chain operations, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning and strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced engineering environment.Responsibilities: 1.Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.2.Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet product and schedule requirements, as well as cost competitiveness.3.Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best quality, cost, and delivery performance.4.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of strategic sourcing strategies.5.Manage supplier relationships, including conducting regular performance reviews and resolving any issues or disputes.6.Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.7.Analyze and assess total costs of company purchases.8.Develop and execute detailed plans and timelines for sourcing projects.9.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.10.Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sourcing strategy and performance.Qualifications: 1.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.2.Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within the engineering industry.3.Proven experience in production planning and management.4.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with suppliers.5.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.6.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.7.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and sourcing-related software.8.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.9.Knowledge of sourcing and procurement regulations and best practices.10.Ability to travel as needed to meet with suppliers and internal stakeholders.This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Consulting Strategic Sourcing Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team.If you have a passion for strategic sourcing and a desire to drive efficiencies and savings, we would love to hear from you.Interested in hearing more?
